Brief: For the launch of David Beckham’s first ever skincare product range, we worked with Publicis to present the superstar in a way we hadn’t seen before to drive a global campaign.
Response: To maximise output from limited filming time with the iconic sportsman we devised a plan that would produce a series of TVCs, social media films, bespoke films for each market, and additional assets such as gifs. The creative built an intimate, unguarded portrait of the global superstar revealing amusing, insightful and heartfelt insights about his life. The films contrasted two sides of Beckham – the sophisticated gent and the competitive sportsman.
Outcome: Our main film and accompanying assets were used to drive engagement with the brand’s social media channels, reaching a global audience of millions online and through international cinema, television and airline releases. The campaign received extensive coverage from the likes of Vogue, Daily Mail and Huffington Post.
