Game On! Japan
Brief: Farfetch approached us to celebrate the launch of it's new boutique in Tokyo. It was important that the film stood out amongst other fashion films, and captured the identity of the Japanese boutique.
Our Response: Part of a series of films created to celebrate the opening of the brand's global boutiques. We created a shoppable, interactive and PR worthy fashion film that celebrated local insights. Game On Japan! was a first for the fashion industry, a manga inspired interactive film where the audience could select their player, control outfits and motorbike through a range of hyperreal Japanese landscapes.
Outcome: Winner of Best Use of Fashion at Berlin Fashion Film Awards. The film raised huge awareness and engagement around the Tokyo store launch, with an average click through rate of 56% to shop the clothes featured in the film, trouncing the industry standard. The film saw average interaction times as high as 3 minutes (the film itself was under 90"), proving the value of technology when used in the right way.
